PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems with conventional ultrasonic inspection apparatuses wherein an electronic scan probe is moved to collect image data for the whole breast to provide tomographic images for a doctor to see all of them before making diagnosis, taking a long time and an extraordinarily large burden, and that normal tomographic images and tomographic images including abnormal parts are of similar image quality, which is insufficient for correct diagnosis for the abnormal parts.SOLUTION: The electronic scan probe is mechanically moved, and when a tomographic image supposed to include an abnormal part is displayed, an inspection engineer stops move of the probe, so that a clear image is provided at a stopped position in picking up and recording images. The selected images are mainly taken to be read by a doctor. All the tomographic images for the whole breast can also be recorded, so that the doctor may see all the data when necessary. Burden on the inspection engineer and the doctor both can be alleviated, abnormal parts can be securely checked, and correct diagnosis can be made for the abnormal parts.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】 従来の電子走査プローブを移動させて乳房全体の画像データを収集する乳がん検診用の超音波検査装置では、医師は収集された全ての断層像を見て診断を下さなければならず、長時間を必要とし負担が非常に大きかった。また、従来は、正常な断層像と異常部位を含む断層像の画質は同じであり、異常部位の正確な診断には十分ではなかった。【解決手段】 本発明は、電子走査プローブを機械的に移動させ、異常部位を含むと思われる断層像が表示されたときに検査技師がプローブの移動を停止し、停止位置では鮮明な画像が得られる方式で画像を撮影、記録し、主としてこの選択された画像を医師が読影するものである。また乳房全体のすべての断層像も記録され、必要に応じて医師が全データを見ることも可能である。これにより、検査技師と医師の両方の負担を減らし、異常部位の見落としが少なく、異常部位の正確な診断が行えるようにした。【選択図】図4
