PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of forming a panoramic image expressing three-dimensional form of the fundus.
SOLUTION: A fundus observation apparatus 1 forms a plurality of three-dimensional images G(k) representing different parts of the fundus Ef by changing a fixed view position of an eye E to be tested. The fundus observation apparatus 1 also obtains a mutual position relation by analyzing the three-dimensional images G(k) and expresses the respective three-dimensional images G(k) by one three-dimensional coordinate system on the basis of the position relation. Thus, panoramic three-dimensional image data G including the plurality of three-dimensional images G(k) are formed. Moreover, the fundus observation apparatus 1 displays a panoramic three-dimensional image including the plurality of three-dimensional images G(k) on the basis of the panoramic three-dimensional image data G expressed by a reference three-dimensional coordinate system.
