A volumetric metering system (20) for a seeding machine (10), the metering system (20) having a plurality of roller segments (78, 178) driven by a common drive shaft (80, 180) is provided with clutch mechanisms (96) radially between each roller segment (78, 178) and the drive shaft (80, 180) to enable the roller segments (78, 178) to be individually shut-off to provide section or swath control to the machine (10).
