The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating degenerative brain disorders comprising an agent capable of inhibiting expression or activity of SHP-1/-2, a method for preventing or treating degenerative brain disorders by administering the pharmaceutical composition, a screening method for an agent for treating degenerative brain disorders, a composition for diagnosis of degenerative brain disorders, a kit for diagnosis of degenerative disorders comprising the composition for diagnosis, and a method for providing information for diagnosis of degenerative brain disorders using the composition for diagnosis or the kit. The agent capable of inhibiting expression or activity of SHP-1/-2 according to the present invention can inhibit signal transfer caused by -synuclein transferred to the adjacent cells, and thus reduces the cytotoxic effect of -synuclein upon the adjacent cells so that it may be useful for an agent for treating degenerative brain disorders. In addition, the agent capable of inhibiting expression or activity of SHP-1/-2 according to the present invention can be an important key from which the etiological mechanism of degenerative brain disorders can be demonstrated, and thus can be used to overcome degenerative brain disorders through fundamental therapy solving the causes.본 발명은 SHP-1/-2의 발현 또는 활성을 억제할 수 있는 제제를 포함하는 퇴행성 뇌질환의 예방 또는 치료용 약학 조성물, 상기 약학 조성물을 투여하여 퇴행성 뇌질환을 예방 또는 치료하는 방법, 상기 퇴행성 뇌질환 치료제의 스크리닝 방법, 퇴행성 뇌질환 진단용 조성물, 상기 진단용 조성물을 포함하는 퇴행성 뇌질환 진단용 키트 및 상기 진단용 조성물 또는 상기 키트를 이용한 퇴행성 뇌질환 진단을 위한 정보의 제공 방법에 관한 것이다.본 발명의 SHP-1/-2의 발현 또는 활성을 억제할 수 있는 제제는 α-시누클레인이 인접한 세포로 전이하여 야기하는 신호전달을 억제할 수 있으므로, 인접한 세포에 대한 α-시누클레인의 세포독성영향을 감소시킴으로써 퇴행성 뇌질환의 치료제로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다. 나아가, 본 발명의 SHP-1/-2의 발현 또는 활성을 억제할 수 있는 제제는 퇴행성 뇌질환의 병인 기전을 밝혀낼 수 있는 중요한 단서가 될 수 있으므로, 원인을 해결하는 근본적 치료를 통해 퇴행성 뇌질환을 극복하는데 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
