PURPOSE: A stethoscope warmer is provided to maintain stethoscopes at a constant temperature, thereby enabling users to use a warm stethoscope at all times.CONSTITUTION: Bimetal plates (43,44) lift a stethoscope head (10) while being spaced apart from a switch (45) if an internal temperature of a stethoscope warmer exceeds a body temperature. Thus, the bimetal plate prevents the overheating of the stethoscope warmer. An ultraviolet light emitting diode (LED) (52) transmits the light of the ultraviolet LED to the head surface of the stethoscope.
