PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for an oral cavity capable of sufficiently removing a protein stain existing on a tooth surface, effectively preventing the protein stain adhering to the tooth surface, and making a user to realize the good cleaning effect in the oral cavity.SOLUTION: This composition for an oral cavity includes the following components (A) and (B): (A) 0.005 to 0.3 mass% of N-acylamino acid or a salt thereof and (B) 0.005 to 0.5 mass% of pyrophosphoric acid or a salt thereof, and has a mass ratio (B/A) of the component (B) to the component (A) of 0.05 to 40.
