PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vein image acquisition device capable of more faithfully reproducing a vein pattern appeared on the surface of a stereoscopic finger without being influenced by the imaging direction of the finger.SOLUTION: A vein image acquisition device 3 comprises: an illumination part 11 for applying illumination light to a finger placing surface 10 and a finger 2 thereon and an imaging part 12 for acquiring a plane projection image G1 by imaging a shadow 13a of a vein 13 projected by the illumination light on a surface 2b of the finger 2. The vein image acquisition device 3 also includes a surface shape set part 16 and an image process part 17. The surface shape set part 16 sets the surface 2b of the finger 2 as a cylindrical surface S1 according to a calculation result obtained from the plane projection image G1. The image process part 17 processes the plane projection image G1 to generate a stereoscopic surface projection image G2 of the plane projection image G1 projected on the cylindrical surface S1, and further processes the stereoscopic surface projection image G2 to acquire a plane development projection image G3 of the plane projection image G1 projected on the cylindrical surface S1, spread in a plane, and adopts the plane development projection image G3 as a vein image.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】立体状の指の表面に現れる静脈パターンを、指の撮影方向に影響されることなく、より忠実に再現可能な静脈画像取得装置を提案すること。【解決手段】静脈画像取得装置3は、指載置面10と指載置面10上の指2に照明光を当てる照明部11と、照明光によって指2の表面2bに投射された静脈13の影13aを撮像して平面投影画像G1を得る撮像部12を有する。また、静脈画像取得装置3は表面形状設定部16と画像処理部17を有する。表面形状設定部16は平面投影画像G1から指2の表面2bを円筒面S1として設定し、画像処理部17は、平面投影画像G1を画像処理して、平面投影画像G1を円筒面S1に投影した立体表面投影画像G2を生成し、さらに、立体表面投影画像G2を画像処理して、平面投影画像G1を投影した円筒面S1を平面に広げた平面展開投影画像G3を得、この平面展開投影画像G3を静脈画像とする。【選択図】図2
