PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine-harvester which is enabled to dispose a transmission case 63 adjacent to the rear side of an engine 7 and to make compact the longitudinal width and the lateral width of the engine 7 and the transmission case 63.SOLUTION: A combine-harvester comprises: a cutting part 3 having a cutting blade 15 a refining part 9 having a handling trunk 21 and a travel airframe 1 having a travel part 2 and an engine 7, and the grain culm is fed from the cutting part 3 to the refining part 9. In the combine-harvester, a transmission case 63 is arranged on the travel airframe 1 at the back of the engine 7, an intermediate shaft 132 is interposed between the engine 7 and the transmission case 63, and the intermediate shaft 132 is extended in the longitudinal direction of the travel airframe 1.
