PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sugarless chewing soft candy retaining excellent taste/palate feeling and chewability even if preserving for a long period after production and to provide a method for producing the candy.

SOLUTION: The sugarless chewing soft candy is obtained by mixing a chewing soft candy base containing glucide containing sugar alcohol as the main ingredient with a prescribed amount of fondant as essential ingredient, using sugar alcohol the same as the sugar alcohol and/or different sugar alcohol, without damaging the crystal. The candy has breaking strength, bond strength and tensile strength showing chewability, each maintained in a prescribed range even if preserving for a long period after production.
