The support (20) comprises an envelope (30) having a tubular structure provided with an internal face on which insect eggs (O) are present, an external face for gripping the support without touching the eggs and a unit (40) for fixing the support in the plant. The envelope comprises continuous planar walls folded up to form a tubular polygonal ring, and a tubular wall to form a cylindrical ring. A precut of the support defines fold lines of the walls. The fixing unit is constituted of a handle whose end is fixed to both sides of a first opening, which is defined on a lateral side of walls. The fixing unit is constituted of a handle whose end is fixed to both sides of a first opening, which is defined on a lateral side of the walls. A height of the handle is higher than its width. The handle is constituted of a wall in the form of roof, where the wall has a constant thickness and a width that is equal to the envelope. The internal face is provided with a zone, which is placed adjacent to the opening and is not covered with eggs. A second opening is defined on the lateral side of the walls to establish an air duct inside the envelope. The envelope is made of a cardboard sheet having a constant thickness.
