The invention relates to cosmetic or dermatological W/O emulsions having a viscosity of 3500 to 5000 mPas (measured at 25 °C) and having a content of (i) one or more glucosyl glycerides, (ii) one or more W/O emulsifiers having HLB values greater than 8, (iii) at most 3 wt % of one or more W/O emulsifiers having HLB values less than 8, and (iv) one or more electrolytes, in such concentrations that the aqueous phase assumes an ionic strength of at least 0.075 mol/l.
