To provide an obstacle detection system and a driving support system that further appropriately detect an obstacle that needs to dealt with while suppressing error detection.SOLUTION: At first, an obstacle detection sensitivity control section 5 sets a detection sensitivity of an obstacle detection section 2 that detects an obstacle using a radar device 1 to a standard level sensitivity.
