In one aspect there is provided a method for producing ethanol anddistillers dried grains and solubles (DDGS). This method comprises the stepsof:providing a plurality of feedstocks milling said feedstocks mixing themilledfeedstocks into a feedstock blend producing ethanol from the feedstock blendusinga dry milling process and collecting the DDGS by-product, after the ethanolisproduced. In another aspect, the method further comprises providing barley asoneof the feedstocks and peas as a second feedstock, wherein the barley feedstockand pea feedstock is mixed in a ratio of between 2:1 and 3.5:1 to make thefeedstock blend. In yet another embodiment, antifoaming enzymes are addedduring the dry milling process to reduce foaming during the fermentation stageofthe dry mill process.
