PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus not requiring means for notifying that the apparatus is in a dangerous state where a rotary body is not under control, and improving workability of maintenance.SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus includes a gantry, a rotary body, a wheel gear, a worm and a movement mechanism. The rotary body is set on the gantry so as to rotate around the body axis of a subject, and mounted with a unit for X-ray photography. The wheel gear has a tooth part continuously set to the outer periphery of the rotary body along its circumferential direction. The worm rotates the rotary body via the wheel gear by rotating while engaged with the wheel gear. The movement mechanism moves the worm to a maintenance position where the worm is restricted only in rotation via the wheel gear by engaging the worm with the wheel gear in maintenance time, or to an X-ray photography position where the restriction is cancelled by separating the worm from the gear wheel so that the rotary body is rotatable.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】回転体を拘束していない危険な状態であることを報知する手段が不必要となり、かつ、メンテナンスの作業性を向上させるX線CT装置を提供する。【解決手段】架台と、回転体と、ホイールギアと、ウオームと、移動機構とを有する。回転体は、架台に被検体の体軸回りに回転するように設けられ、X線撮影のためのユニットを搭載する。ホイールギアは、回転体の外周部に周方向に沿って連続して設けられた歯部を有する。ウオームは、ホイールギアに噛み合った状態で回転することにより、ホイールギアを介して回転体を回転させる。移動機構は、メンテナンス時に、ウオームをホイールギアに噛み合わせて、回転体をホイールギアを介する回転だけに拘束するメンテナンス時位置と、X線撮影時に、ウオームをホイールギアから離間させることにより、回転体を回転可能なように拘束を解除する。【選択図】図1
