The invention relates to medical engineering and can be used for ultra-fast sterilization of medical instruments.Apparatus ultrafast sterilization of medical instruments comprises a source of microwave energy, a segment of the matching waveguide resonator (microwave ovens or other similar devices), two heat resistant container transparent to microwave fields, one of which with sterilizable instruments has a cover, the opening, the projections on the bottom, holders (handle), fills the working fluid by immersing the container in another somewhat larger. Another container slightly larger contains the working medium - water, with a small addition of salt. The container with the sterilized instruments and the opening is placed in another container, a somewhat larger size. Working medium penetrates through the hole in the container with the sterilized instruments and fills them. Both containers are placed in the cavity, and their position has height adjustment, which makes it possible to establish the optimum location of containers relative to the matching waveguide segment (window microwave cavity). After sterilization (less than 5 minutes) containers are removed from the resonator. The sterilized instruments with inner container with a lid is lifted by the protrusions (handles), wherein the working medium is poured into an external container.
