The invention provides an improved solution for aerating agricultural grainswhere limitedelectrical power is available. The invention consists of an internalcombustion engine which isused to power a fan that moves air through a grain storage facility to adjustthe moisture andtemperature of the grain for safe long term storage and/or improve itssaleability. Theinvention includes a method of capturing the waste heat from the engine anduses it toimprove the drying properties of the aeration air. It also provides for a wayto divert the wasteheat from the aeration air, if desired. Additionally, the invention has theability to measureimportant parameters related to the grain conditioning process, the ability toadjust processparameter, and the ability to send and receive information from a humanoperator.
