PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure pulsation of a living body during exercise with high accuracy.SOLUTION: Each of LED light emission parts 13-1 to 13-N emits light of a prescribed different wavelength. A light reception part 14 receives the light emitted from each of the LED light emission parts 13-1 to 13-N and transmitted through a measurement target region of a living body, and outputs an electric signal corresponding to an intensity of the light. A data acquisition part 16 acquires data on pulsation in the measurement target region on the basis of temporal transition of the electric signal outputted from the light reception part 14. A wavelength setting part 19 sets a wavelength of the LED light emission part 13 selected by an LED selection part 20 of the LED light emission parts 13-1 to 13-N on the basis of a thickness and an absorption coefficient of the measurement target region.
