A physical detection device and a physical detection method for detecting and classifying a muscle power condition of a subject are provided. The physical detection device includes an inertial measurement unit, a pressure detection device and a processing unit. The inertial measurement unit is configured to be arranged at the subject part and to obtain inertial data corresponding to the part according to movement condition of the part. The pressure detection device is configured to detection external force applied on the part to obtain pressure data. The processing unit is configured to perform an operation on the inertial data and the pressure data for obtaining evaluation values, and to obtain muscle power information corresponding to the part according to the evaluation values. The evaluation values include angles, speed, angle variations, speed variation and combinations thereof.一種肌力分級檢測裝置及方法，其用以檢測受測者的肌力狀態。肌力分級檢測裝置包含慣性量測單元、處理單元和壓力感測單元。慣性量測單元用以配置於受測者的部位且依據此部位的運動狀態得到對應此部位之慣性資料。壓力感測單元用以偵測施加於此部位之外力以得到壓力資料。處理單元用以對慣性資料和壓力資料進行運算處理，以得到評估量值，依據此評估量值取得對應此部位之肌力資訊。其中，此評估量值包含選自角度、速度、角度變化量及速度變化量之組合。
