PURPOSE: A backbone retractor for animals is provided to reduce the pain of an animal suffering from the oppression of the spinal nerves and to prevent the additional damage to the spinal cord. CONSTITUTION: A backbone retractor for animals comprises a retractor body(10), a foreleg supporting board(20), a foreleg fixing unit, a rear leg supporting board(40), a rear leg fixing unit, and a moving tool(60). The retractor body comprises installation holes and is formed in a cuboid shape. The foreleg supporting board is inserted into the front installation hole of the retractor body and supports the forelegs of an animal. The foreleg fixing unit fixes the retractor body. The rear leg supporting board supports the rear legs of the animal and moves in the longitudinal direction. The rear leg fixing unit fixes the retractor body to the animal. The moving tool moves the rear leg supporting board in the longitudinal direction.본 발명은 동물의 척추를 견인하기 위한 동물용 척추 견인기로써, 간격을 두고 측면을 관통하는 앞쪽 설치공과 뒷쪽 설치공이 각각 형성된 견인기몸체와 상기 견인기몸체의 앞쪽 설치공에 끼워지는 앞다리받침대와 상기 앞다리받침대의 양쪽에 각각 설치되어 상기 견인기몸체를 동물에 고정하는 앞다리고정수단과 상기 견인기몸체의 뒤쪽 설치공에 끼워지는 뒷다리받침대와 상기 뒷다리받침대의 양쪽에 각각 설치되어 상기 견인기몸체를 동물에 고정하는 뒷다리고정수단과 상기 뒷다리받침대에 연결되고 견인기몸체상에 설치되어 상기 뒷다리받침대를 길이방향으로 이동시키는 이동수단으로 구성되어 있는 것이다.상기 동물용 척추 견인기는 동물의 배에 견인기몸체를 받쳐주어 척추의 움직임을 최소화하였고, 앞다리받침대와 뒷다리받침대의 간격을 용이하게 조절할 수 있어 동물의 크기에 상관없이 편리하게 이용이 가능하고, 앞다리고정수단과 뒷다리고정수단으로 인하여 몸에 밀착시킬 수 있어 척수 신경의 압박에 의해 고통받는 동물의 고통을 덜어주고, 수술이나 치료를 받기 위한 대기 시간에 척추를 견인함으로써 추가적인 손상을 막을 수 있으며, 수술 후에도 척추를 견인하여 안정적으로 고정함으로써 수술 후 회복을 촉진할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
