PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exposure warning apparatus and an X-ray diagnostic apparatus capable of reducing the chances of a medical worker being exposed to radiation.SOLUTION: An exposure warning apparatus comprises: an exposed area estimation unit for estimating an area exposed to X rays emitted by an X-ray irradiation unit of an X-ray diagnostic apparatus a detection unit for detecting at least one of positional information and direction of movement of an object person a determination unit for estimating the probability of the object person entering the exposed area on the basis of the information detected by the detection unit, and for determining the entry of the object person into the exposed area on the basis of the value indicating the probability and a warning notification unit for issuing a warning on the basis of the determination result of the determination unit.
