PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe which has an effective sealing structure at its cable root part.
SOLUTION: A bush 24 is pressed fit in the lower part of a cable boot 16. The bush 24 comprises a tube 24A and a flange 24B. When the flange 24B and a holder 26 come closer to each other, an inner seal part is sealed up after an O-ring 28 interposed in a gap is crushed by pressure from a slope face 24D, while an outer seal part 104 located outside the tube 24A is protected by a metal support 25. Furthermore, an opening 12A being in a recessed shape helps protect the outer seal part 104. The flexibility of the cable boot 16 is limited at the lower part, so that the stress on both outer seal part 104 and inner seal part can be reduced.
