PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lupinus plant having a perennial blooming characteristic (that is, perennial blooming phenotype or character).SOLUTION: A lupinus plant having recessive homozygous type YRF alleles bringing about a perennial blooming characteristic and a seed of the same are given in which a plant blooming very early in comparison with other plants is identified in population of the raschel lupinus plant breedings, and the lupinus plant is selected by sib-crossing other clones having different flower colors.
