The present invention relates to novel 2,5,6-benzimidazole derivatives of formula I and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. Another aspect of the invention relates to methods of treating a patient infected by Mycobacterium tuberculosis or Mycobacteriumavium complex by administering to the patient a 2,5,6- benzimidazole derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.Cette invention concerne de nouveaux dérivés du 2,5,6-benzimidazole de formule I et ses sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables. Selon un autre aspect, linvention concerne des méthodes permettant de traiter un patient infecté par Mycobacterium tuberculosis ou le complexe Mycobacterium avium, qui consistent à administrer au patient un dérivé du 2,5,6-benzimidazole ou un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable de ce dernier.
