PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel comprising a magnetic detection device which is capable of maintaining sure fixing intensity of a magnet for performing position detection of a movable member accurately always in a stabilized state.SOLUTION: A fishing reel of the invention comprises: a magnetic detection device 80 for detecting an actuation change state of a movable member 17a which is movably provided on a reel body. The magnetic detection device 80 comprises: a magnetic sensor 60 provided on a fixing member 3b side of the reel body； and a magnet 70 provided on a movable member 17a side of the reel body.
