The tracking unit is configured to carry out first tracking processing of tracking the motion of the first region of interest between the medical images and second tracking processing of tracking the motion of a second region of interest, different from the first region of interest, between the medical images. The calculation unit is configured to calculate the motion of the second region of interest with respect to the first region of interest by using the result of the first tracking processing and the result of the second tracking processing.
