PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture indicator for soil enabling a user to easily notice the proper timing of watering.SOLUTION: A moisture indicator for soil includes: a display part which is formed by a transparent raw material so that the inside of a hollow can be recognized visually and a moisture detection part which is arranged in the inside of the display part and in which change in external appearance occurs in accordance with the moisture content of soil. The moisture indicator for soil characterized in that an outer shape of the cross section is formed in an elliptical shape is provided by the display part.
