A system, method and apparatus for coupling a flexible transducer to an object is described. The transducer positioning device includes an inflatable bladder and a strap. The inflatable bladder, when inflated, exerts a force on the transducer array to maintain the position of the transducer array striking the object. The strap keeps the bladder in contact with the transducer array.
