PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can prevent a connection part between a front waist area S10A and a rear waist area from being separated.SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 includes a chassis 3 provided with a front waist area S10A, a rear waist area S10B, and a crotch area S20. The chassis 3 is provided with a chassis body 31 extended from the front waist area S10A to the rear waist area S10B via the crotch area S20 and a pair of side part panels 32 which are joined to both side end parts 31A, 31B of the chassis body respectively in the lateral direction Y of the absorbent article 1 and disposed between the front waist area S10A and the rear waist area S10B. The side panels 32 are not extensible and have opening parts 40 for hooking by hands and fingers.
