A needle assembly, comprising: a needle (110) having a sharp end and an opposite end, the needle being insertable through a base (102)； and a needle protection device (214), comprising: an inner protection (216) connectable to at least one of the base and a fluid connector connectable to the base； and an outer shield (215) fixedly connected to the opposite end of the needle and movable with respect to the inner shield between a first position, in which the sharp end of the needle is exposed outside the inner shield, and a second position, in which the sharp end of the needle is protected by the inner protection； characterized in that the interaction between the inner protection and the needle during or after the proximal movement of the outer protection from the first position to the second position automatically releases or allows the release of the internal protection from its connection to at least one of the base and fluid connector； the outer protection has a cavity in it to accommodate the inner protection when the outer protection is in the first position； and the inner protection comprises a spring element (216) disposed around the needle, the spring element having an end of the protection, where with the proximal displacement of the sharp end of the needle beyond the end of the protection when the outer protection moves to the second position, the end of the protection automatically moves laterally to cover the sharp end of the needle； the spring element comprises a spring clip (216) with latch tabs (222) that are connected with latches (226) for the connector in the fluid connector (126)； as the outer protection moves to the second position, the sharp end of the needle moves proximally beyond the end of the protection, thereby deflecting the spring clip to laterally move the end of the protection to cover the sharp end of the needle, and disengage the latch tabs on the latches for the fluid connector connector.Un conjunto de aguja, que comprende: una aguja
