PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently exhibit the performance of an ultrasonic probe by using the probe at a high sensitivity.SOLUTION: The default voltage to the ultrasonic probe is determined based on a first permissible temperature value and a target temperature value after the elapse of an infinite period of time corresponding to a condition for transmitting ultrasonic waves in the ultrasonic probe. A second permissible temperature value in the diagnostic period for the ultrasonic probe is calculated based on the input diagnostic period.
