PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate rachis-branches from unhulled rice by the right and left reciprocal movement of a scraper to improve the selection performance by forming a clearance in the degree allowing the rachis-branches to enter the clearance between the scraper that is a cleaning tool and a fixed sieving plate.
SOLUTION: The swinging selection apparatus is constituted as follows. The sieve (17) of the swinging selection shelf (15) for receiving a thresh-treated product from a threshing part (1) and carrying out the swinging selection thereof is equipped with a cleaning tool (30) comprising the plates (28) parallel in the front and rear direction and arranged at a prescribed interval in the right and left direction, and the scrapers (29) for removing deposits on the surfaces of each sieving plate (26). The cleaning tool (30) is constituted so as to be moved reciprocally in the right and left lateral direction based on the sieving plate (26), and the clearance (L) in the degree allowing the rachis-branches to enter is formed between the sieving plate (26) and the scraper (29).
