PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel means for producing RD-114 virus-free feline or canine vaccine.SOLUTION: A transgenic cells using Felis-derived cells as an original strain is obtained by artificially knocking out infection env genes of RD-114 virus inherent in the genome of the original strain. By artificially knocking out the infection env gene of RD-114 virus inherent in the genome of the original strain, the Felis-derived cells can be transformed into RD-114 virus-free cells, and further, by applying the transgenic cells to feline or canine vaccine production, RD-114 virus-free feline or canine vaccines can be produced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】RD-114ウイルスフリーのネコ又はイヌ用のワクチンを製造するための新規手段の提供。【解決手段】ネコ属由来の細胞を元株とした遺伝子組換型細胞であって、前記元株のゲノムに内在しているRD-114ウイルスの感染型env遺伝子が人為的にノックアウトされた遺伝子組換型細胞。元株のゲノムに内在しているRD-114ウイルスの感染型env遺伝子を人為的にノックアウトすることで、ネコ属由来の細胞をRD-114ウイルスフリーにすることができ、さらに、この遺伝子組換え細胞をネコ又はイヌ用のワクチン製造などに適用することで、RD-114ウイルスフリーのネコ又はイヌ用のワクチンを製造する方法。【選択図】図１
