This invention provides a hearing ability testing method comprising: performing multiple sound tests respectively to establish a table of hearing ability, and adjusting a hearing aid accordingly wherein each sound test comprises: providing a testing sound to a patient in a predetermined distance and judging the response of the patient if the testing sound not passing the test, providing the testing sound to the patient in a reduced distance, wherein the reduced distance is obtained by reducing the predetermined distance with a specific value recording the responses of the patient and the distance of the test, and checking and adjusting the hearing auxiliary (such as volume of a hearing aid or frequency of cochlear implant) according to the test record. Therefore, the hearing ability of the patient can be confirmed primarily, and the requirements of further hearing examination or ear examination can be determined. The hearing ability of the patient and the efficiency of hearing auxiliary can be monitored based on the long-term hearing ability test, it is especially benefit for preschool children with hearing loss.本發明係提供一種聽力篩檢及監測之方法,係包括:對受測者分次進行複數個音頻測試,從而建立一聽力檢測資料表。其中各音頻測試包括:於預定距離下,對受測者發出一音頻,並判斷該受測者對於該音頻的反應;若該音頻未通過測試,則將該預定距離遞減一特定值,再對該受測者發出該未通過測試之音頻;在該聽力檢測資料表中紀錄該受測者對該音頻所具有反應的距離;以及依據該聽力檢測資料表,檢查和調整助聽輔具(如助聽器音量或人工電子耳調頻),對受測者的聽力範圍或聽能距離取得概括性的了解、或建議是否進一步接受詳細聽力檢查、耳科檢查等。長期重複建立聽力檢測資料表,可對受測者聽力狀況和助聽器效能進行持續監控,並提供警示,特別是對還不善表達的學齡前聽損兒童。
