[Problem] To provide a volatilizer to which absorbing sticks can be inserted and which can minimize spillage when turned over. [Solution] A sealing member (101) is disposed between an inlet section (25) of a container body (11) of a volatilizer (1) and a cap (32) attached to the inlet section (25), and an end opening of the inlet section (25), the end opening constituting part of a communicating section (91), is sealed with the sealing member (101). An insertion section (111) through which absorbing sticks (12) are inserted is provided in the center of the sealing member (101), and the insertion section (111) is formed of a plurality of slits extending radially from a center point (112) of the sealing member (101). The slits are provided for allowing the insertion of the absorbing sticks (12), and include long slits (113) and short slits (114).
