In amine-containing monomer R2 is independently C2-C8 alkylene or C2-C8 alkylene, where one or more groups -CH2 an alkylene group substituted with at least one amide functional group and R3 is C2-C12 alkylene, arylene, diformylheterocyclic group or C2-C8 alkylene, where one or more groups -CH2 an alkylene group substituted with amide, carbonyl, ether group, ester group, cycloalkyl, aryl or heterocyclic functional group. Cross-linking monomer is guanidine, guanidine salt, compound of formula X-R1-X, or combination thereof, where each X is independently a leaving group, R1 is C8-C16 alkylene or C5-C50 alkylene, where one or more groups -CH2 an alkylene group substituted with amide, carbonyl, ether group, ester group, cycloalkyl, aryl or heterocyclic functional group, or one or more groups -CH2 an alkylene group substituted with hydroxyl.
