PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medical image forming apparatus capable of displaying a blood vessel, to which a contrast medium is administered, over the total length thereof in contrast easy to diagnostically read, a medical image forming program, and a medical image forming method.SOLUTION: The medical image forming apparatus 1 is constituted so as to form the two dimensional visible image of a noticeable region on the basis of three-dimensional image data acquired by an image forming apparatus 4 and includes a data extraction means 20 for extracting the three-dimensional data of the blood vessel, to which the contract medium is administered, from three-dimensional image data corresponding to the distance from the start part in the core line of the blood vessel, a projection means 21 for projecting the three-dimensional data extracted by the data extraction means 20 on a predetermined two-dimensional plane in a three-dimensional space to form a two-dimensional visible image of the blood vessel, and a window value/window width setting means 22 for setting the window width of the two-dimensional visible image of the blood vessel formed by the projection means 21 on the basis of the distance from the start part in the core line so as to reduce the difference between the contrasts at the respective positions in the length direction of the blood vessel.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】造影剤が投与された血管を全長に亘って読影しやすいコントラストで表示させることが可能な医用画像生成装置、医用画像生成プログラムおよび医用画像生成方法を得る。【解決手段】医用画像生成装置1は、画像撮像装置4で撮像して取得された3次元画像データに基づき注目部位の2次元可視画像を生成する装置で、3次元画像データから、造影剤が投与された血管の3次元データを該血管の芯線における起始部からの距離に対応付けて抽出するデータ抽出手段20と、データ抽出手段20により抽出された3次元データを、3次元空間内の所定の2次元平面上に投影して血管の2次元可視画像を生成する投影手段21と、投影手段21により生成された血管の2次元可視画像のウインドウ幅を、該血管の長さ方向各位置におけるコントラストの差が小さくなるように、芯線における起始部からの距離に基づいて設定するウインドウ値・ウインドウ幅設定手段22とを備える。【選択図】図1
