Das Modul (18) weist zumindest eine Elektrode (20, 22) zum Erfassen wenigstens einer Messgröße auf, welche einen Rückschluss auf wenigstens einen Vitalparameter eines Insassen des Kraftfahrzeugs zulässt. Die zumindest eine Elektrode (20, 22) ist an einer Außenseite des Moduls (18) angeordnet. In das Modul (18) ist eine Auswerteeinrichtung (24) zum Auswerten der wenigstens einen Messgröße integriert.
