The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a deodorant composition for removing halitosis, comprising a chestnut inner shell extract, which comprises the following steps: extracting a chestnut inner shell by any one solvent selected among water, low-grade alcohol having one to four carbon atoms, or a mixed solvent thereof； and obtaining a filtered solution without impurities by filtering an extracted mixture obtained in the extracting step.본 발명은 율피(Chestnut inner shell)를 물, 탄소수 1 내지 4의 저급 알콜 또는 이들의 혼합용매 중에서 선택되는 어느 하나의 용매로 추출하는 추출 단계； 및 상기 추출 단계에서 얻은 추출 혼합물을 여과하여 불순물이 제거된 여액을 수득하는 단계；를 포함하는 율피 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 구취제거용 소취제 조성물의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
