The seeder (1) has a coupling shaft (3) which is connected to a tractor (2) through an articulating joint (5). The machine body (4) comprises a front chassis (13) connected to the shaft and carrying furrowing discs (11), and is supported on the ground by wheels (12). The wheels are displaceable in height by a connecting link (24). A rear chassis (14) is joined to the front chassis by a central articulating joint (27) with a vertical longitudinal axis. A seeder (10) comprising a hopper (76) and grain planting discs (29) is carried by the rear chassis. The furrowing discs are connected to two ramps (160) independently connected to the front chassis by an articulating joint (50). The grain planting discs are connected to two ramps (380) independently connected to the rear chassis by an articulating joint (73). The ramps have pivoting controls (52,75) allowing their pivoting about their articulating joints from a horizontal working position to a transport position where they extend upwards. <IMAGE>
