The present invention relates to dermocosmetic formulations for use in combating skin blemishes, especially melasma. The present invention minimizes or prevents the formation of melasma by acting in several stages of melanogenesis. A preferred modality of the invention refers to dermocosmetic formulations that act in several stages of melanogenesis, more preferably, they act in the gene expression of proteins related to tyrosinase (TRP-1 and TRP-2) and Endothelin-I (ET-1). Another embodiment of the invention relates to the cosmetic composition containing a combination of active ingredients that act on the gene expression of tyrosinase-related proteins (TRP-1 and TRP-2) and Endothelin-1 (ET-1). In another preferred embodiment of the invention, the use of said cosmetic composition to combat melasma is described.a presente invenção refere-se a formulações dermocosméticas para uso no combate às manchas de pele, em especial ao melasma. a presente invenção minimiza ou evita a formação do melasma através de atuação em diversas etapas da melanogênese. uma modalidade preferida da invenção se remete a formulações dermocosméticas que atuam em diversas etapas da melanogênese, mais preferencialmente, atuam na expressão gênica das proteínas relacionadas à tirosinase (trp-1 e trp-2) e da endotelina-i (et-1). uma outra concretização da invenção se refere à composição cosmética contendo combinação de ativos que atuam sobre a expressão gênica da proteínas relacionadas à tirosinase (trp-1 e trp-2) e da endotelina-1 (et-1). em uma outra modalidade preferida da invenção, é descrito o uso da referida composição cosmética para combater o melasma.
