PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical manipulator capable of achieving intuitive operability for input parts of a rotating mechanism and a pivot mechanism.

SOLUTION: The manipulator 10 includes: a distal-end motion part 12 to be inserted into the body cavity to make motions the rotating mechanism disposed in the distal-end motion part 12 to be rotatable around the axis of the distal-end motion part 12 in the direction of extension the pivot mechanism disposed in the distal-end motion part 12 to be tiltable non-parallel to the axis extending from the proximal end to the distal end of a coupling shaft motors 100 and 102 disposed out of the human body for driving the distal-end motion part 12 an operating part 14 including a grip handle 26 to be gripped by a human hand on the proximal end side a rotational operating part 54 to be rotationally operated by fingers in the circumferential direction to operate the rotating mechanism and a tilting operating part 56 to be tilted by pushing by fingers to operate the pivot mechanism. A shallow finger hooking notch 72e is formed on the outer diameter side from an end or the upper surface of the tilting operating part 56 on the outer surface of the rotational operating part 54.
