PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmological observation device capable of linking alignment and adjustment of an optical path length of an optical system for OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography).SOLUTION: An ophthalmological observation device comprises a measuring optical system, an image forming unit, a drive unit, and a control unit. The measuring optical system splits light from a light source into signal light and reference light and generates and detects interfering light of the signal light and the reference light having passed through an eye being examined. The image forming unit forms an image on the basis of a result of detection of the interfering light by the measuring optical system. The drive unit moves the measuring optical system. When the measuring optical system is moved in an optical axis direction by the drive unit, the control unit changes the optical path length of the signal light and/or the reference light on the basis of the content of the movement.
