PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastener tape that has a structure in which tab used to peel a fastener material such as a face fastener is easily gripped and pulled and, moreover, a tape base material is prevented from being peeled from the fastener material when the tab is gripped and pulled, and to provide a disposable diaper having this fastener tape.SOLUTION: In a fastener tape used for fixing the rear body and front body of a disposable diaper, and designed such that a fastener material is joined to one face of a tape base material attached to each side part of the rear body, the tape base material integrally has a base-material leading end part that projects toward a tape leading-end further than the fastener material. The base-material leading end part is folded toward the fastener material side and covers part of the surface of the fastener material, and also joined to the surface of the fastener material.
