The present invention relates to a function related to the function of p21-activated kinase (PAK), related to proliferation of influenza virus. Particularly, the present invention relates to a composition containing a PAK inhibitor as an active ingredient for preventing and treating influenza A virus (IAV) infectious disease and a method for screening therapeutic agents. According to the present invention, the activation of PAK affects the increase of replication of influenza virus. Therefore, a composition containing the PAK inhibitor as an active ingredient effectively blocks IAV infection and prevents and treats influenza virus infectious diseases by reducing proliferation of influenza virus when the expression and activation of PAK are suppressed.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014본 발명은 PAK (p21-activated kinase)의 인플루엔자 바이러스 증식과 관련된 기능에 관한 것이다. 구체적으로 본 발명은 PAK 억제제를 유효성분으로 포함하는 A형 인플루엔자 바이러스(IAV) 감염 질환의 예방 및 치료용 조성물 및 치료제 스크리닝 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의하면, PAK의 활성화가 인플루엔자 바이러스의 복제를 증가시키는데 영향을 미치며, 따라서 PAK의 발현 및 활성을 억제하는 경우, 인플루엔자 바이러스의 증식이 감소된다는 사실을 확인함으로써 PAK의 억제제를 유효성분으로 포함하는 조성물은 A형 인플루엔자 바이러스(IAV) 감염을 효과적으로 차단하여 인플루엔자 바이러스 감염에 의한 질환을 예방 및 치료할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
