PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving part for coupling a rod to a bone anchoring element, and a bone anchoring device including the receiving part.SOLUTION: A receiving part for receiving a rod 100 and coupling it to a bone anchoring element 1 includes a receiving part body 5 having a top end 10, a bottom end 11, and a center axis extending through the top end and the bottom end, a channel 13 for receiving the rod, and an accommodation space for accommodating a head 3 of the bone anchoring element. The accommodation space has an opening for introducing the head at the bottom end, and further includes an integrally molded pressure element 6 at least partially positioned in the accommodation space. The pressure element includes a top end facing the top end of the receiving part, a bottom end facing the bottom end of the receiving part, and a flexible part 71, 70, 73 for clamping the head.
