PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breast pump allowing independent adjustment of a breast-pumping pressure and a negative pressure formation cycle.SOLUTION: This breast pump includes a pressure change part 71 connected to a breast-pumping part 22 abutted on a breast of a user, and alternately generating a negative pressure state and at least an atmospheric pressure state as a pressure larger than the negative pressure state. The breast pump includes, between the breast-pumping part and the pressure change part, a buffer part 77 having a prescribed volume. The prescribed volume of the buffer part 77 has an unchangeable volume not changed even by the operation of the pressure change part.
