PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-feed combine in which a layer thickness of threshed grain in a rocking shelf is equalized to carry out good sorting action, and thereby the discharge of the grain to the outside of a machine body is eliminated.SOLUTION: A head-feed combine includes a conveying device (9) for supplying the tip side of grain culm reaped by a reaping device (6) to a threshing chamber (66) of a threshing device (15), and a rocking shelf (51) for sorting the threshed grain threshed in the threshing chamber (66). The head-feed combine is provided with a tip detection sensor (10) for detecting a tip position of the grain culm supplied to the threshing chamber (66) by the conveying device (9). When the tip position of the grain culm detected by the tip detection sensor (10) is out of a proper position and a state of being too close to a root side or the tip side continues for predetermined time, an inclined posture to a transfer direction of the threshed grain of a spread guide (88) provided on the rocking shelf (51) is changed, and a layer thickness of the threshed grain transferred on the rocking shelf (51) is equalized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT【課題】揺動棚における脱穀処理物の層厚を均等にして良好な選別作用が行われるものとし、穀粒の機外排出を無くする。【解決手段】刈取装置(6)で刈り取った穀稈の穂先側を脱穀装置(15)の扱室(66)に供給する搬送装置(9)と、扱室(66)で脱穀された脱穀処理物を選別する揺動棚(51)を備えた自脱型コンバインにおいて、搬送装置(9)によって扱室(66)に供給される穀稈の穂先位置を検出する穂先検出センサ(10)を設け、該穂先検出センサ(10)によって検出される穀稈の穂先位置が適正位置から外れて株元側或いは穂先側に寄り過ぎた状態が所定時間にわたって継続した場合に、揺動棚(51)上に設けた拡散ガイド(88)の脱穀処理物の移送方向に対する傾斜姿勢を変更して揺動棚(51)上を移送される脱穀処理物の層厚を均等にする構成とする。【選択図】図5
