COMPOSITION COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE COMPOUND SELECTED FOR THE TREATMENT OF SEPSIS AND / OR ANY GENERALIZED HYPER-INFLAMMATION (SIRS) OR CELLULAR DAMAGE
The present invention relates to the treatment of sep sis and generalized acute inflammation (SIRS) and more particularly to septic shock and SIRS conditions giving similar tables requiring the use of catecholamine after filling or when fast filling phase in case of very sudden aggravation. In particular, the present invention relates to a composition comprising a - or a combination of - compound (s) selenium (s) for the treatment of sepsis. The present invention also relates to the vectorization of the selenium compound in order to specifically target the cells of the innate response, more particularly the phagocytic cells and more particularly the most immature hyperactivated neutrophils and their interaction with the activated endothelium. Finally, in another aspect, the invention relates to a device for ultra-fast delivery of said selenium compound, possibly vectorized. La présente invention concerne le traitement du sep sis et de l'inflammation aigue généralisée (SIRS, systemic inflammatory response syndrome) et plus particulièrement du choc septique et des états de SIRS donnant des tableaux similaire nécessitant le recours aux catécholamine après un remplissage ou lors de phase rapide de remplissage en cas d'aggravation très brutale. En particulier, la présente invention concerne une composition comprenant un - ou une combinaison de - composé(s) sélénié(s) pour le traitement du sepsis. La présente invention concerne également la vectorisation du composé sélénié afin de cibler spécifiquement les cellules de la réponse innée, plus particulièrement les cellules phagocytaires et plus particulièrement les polynucléaires neutrophiles hyperactivés les plus immatures et leur interaction avec l'endothélium activé. Enfin, dans un autre aspect, l'invention concerne un dispositif permettant l'administration ultra-rapide dudit composé sélénié, éventuellement vectorisé.
