PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an absorbent article surely changeable before stool starts to leak from the absorbent article by preventing detection delay of evacuation, allow reduction of discomfort at the time of wearing caused by electric contacts included in the absorbent article, and suppress urine absorption inhibition caused by the electric contacts.SOLUTION: An absorbent article having a thickness direction, a width direction, and a longitudinal direction includes: a urine absorbing absorbent core having a back side part, a crotch part and a ventral part in the longitudinal direction two conductive members provided on the absorbent core along the longitudinal direction, and arranged side by side each other at an interval in the width direction and a connection part electrically connecting the conductive member to a detection part detecting urination or evacuation based on the electrification state of the conductive member.
