PURPOSE: A dual surface coil of a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus is provided to reduce noise as having a simple structure by including an LC parallel circuit in a resonance circuit part connected to an RF coil. CONSTITUTION: A receiving antenna part(100) has conductive elements in a loop type which are dually arranged on a plane. A resonance circuit part(150) is connected to the receiving antenna part through a first connection part(160) and a second connection part(170), and provides a signal corresponding to a magnetic resonance signal to the outside. The resonance circuit part comprises a first terminal and a second terminal. A first LC serial circuit(130) is connected between the first connection part and the first terminal. The LC serial circuit is constituted with an inductor and a capacitor. A second LC serial circuit(140) is connected between the second connection part and the second terminal. The second LC serial circuit is constituted with an inductor and a capacitor. An LC parallel circuit(120) constituted with an inductor and a capacitor is connected between the first connection part and the second connection part.본 발명은 이중표면코일에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 자기공명영상장치의 이중표면코일은 자기공명영상장치로부터 발생되는 고주파 여기 펄스(RF excitation pulse)에 기인하여 자기 공명 신호들(magnetic resonance signals)을 수신하는 표면코일(surface coil)에 있어서, 루프 형태로 이루어진 전도성 소자들이 평행한 평면상에 이중으로 배치되는 수신안테나부； 및 제1 접속부 및 제2 접속부를 통해 상기 수신안테나부와 연결되고, 상기 수신안테나부로부터 수신되는 신호 중 상기 자기공명신호에 해당하는 신호만을 외부로 제공하는 공진회로부；를 구비하며, 상기 공진회로부는 인덕터(L) 및 캐패시터(C)의 병렬회로와 인덕터(L) 및 캐패시터(C)의 직렬회로의 조합으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따른 자기공명영상장치의 이중표면코일은 자기공명신호를 수신하는 세기는 크게 하고, 노이즈는 최소화하여 신호대잡음비(SNR)을 향상시킬 수 있으며, 간단한 회로 구성을 통해 제작이 용이하며 제조비용을 절감할 수 있는 표면코일을 제공할 수 있게 된다.
